Israel's
war on Palestine in the whole world has caused a lot of controversy in the
international arena since Israel has been opposing this militant activity since
the beginning, so many Islamic countries support Palestine, but in most cases,
the debate is tied to this issue. Although many countries have supported Israel
since the birth of the state of Israel, those who are considered to be Islamic
countries have not supported Israel, for example, India supported Israel when
Israel first gained independence, but there are some reasons why Pakistan does
not consider Israel as a state.
The main reason behind Pakistan not supporting Israel is that Israel is a
Jewish state and Pakistan supports Islamic thinking. Since Pakistan has eternal
hostility with India, which seems never to be eradicated, at least in the
international arena, India does not stand on any side in the
Israeli-Palestinian war, but on the other hand, while giving some kind of
support to Israel, talks about maintaining peace in the international arena.
The war between
Palestine and Israel is one of the most discussed issues in the international
arena, as a result of which America supports Israel morally, there have been
many criticisms of Israel on the world discussion stage, but the most affected
in this war are the common people, as the common people of Israel have been
killed by the militant groups of Palestine and by the Israeli army. A large
number of Palestinian militant groups, along with civilians, suffered a large
number of casualties. Since 2006, the activities of the Hamas militant group
have increased and they have split into two factions, resulting in increased
activity of the Israeli army in the border areas of the country, resulting in
problems between the two sides. But in Israel's West Bank, known as the Gaja
Strip, Hamas has become more aggressive and has continued to shell Israeli
border areas, prompting counterattacks by Israeli forces. Despite the mutual
agreement in 2007, when the two parties came to an understanding, Israel and
the Hamas militant group imposed a burden of conditions on each other,
including some concessions regarding the accommodation of religious
organizations in the border areas and their pilgrimages, later leaving the
seeds of conflict again.
In the context of the conflict between Israel and Palestine,
various domestic and foreign powers have formed alliances and different groups,
and foreign powers have become the main cause of ideological debates with each
other around this conflict. It is not possible to say how many years this
long-term conflict will continue, but the causes of conflict between the two
sides need to be eliminated. First, when Israel was ruled by the British, the
British colonial rulers did not remove the Islamic organizations during the
settlement of the Jews in Israel. The point is that the clear thinking of the
international community during the creation of the Jewish state, which would
have made it possible to establish peace, was not done at the time, resulting
in a kind of chaos between the two groups of thought, and the third party
groups benefited from it.
Earlier, Israel was attacked by all the Islamic countries, but Israel
alone managed itself and defeated seven Islamic countries in the war, despite
the support of their foreign and diplomatic circles, Israel did not receive the
support of other countries, which they needed from the international point of
view. The conflict between Israel and Palestine cannot be resolved through
dialogue alone.
If we review the contexts of
the Israeli-Palestinian wars and discuss their earlier histories, we can find
many reasons such as -The conflict that arose between the movement of the
people of Israel for their homeland and the movement of the Arabs for their
pilgrimage. When the Balfour Agreement was signed in 1917 by the British, it
was stated that after the end of World War I, the Jews would be given their own
state to be known as Israel. But when the nationalist movement started in
Arabia, it also spread in Palestine and some major leaders in Palestine
strongly supported this movement, which resulted in the conflict between
Palestine and Israel. The leader of that time, Haj Amin al-Husseini, provided
the utmost support to this Arab nationalist movement, and on the contrary, the
nationalist movement against Israel among the Jews reached extremes, resulting
in a guerilla war between the two. The conflict started in 1948 and the total
number of new wars between Israel and Palestine by 2023 is a significant
conflict history in the international arena.
Among them, some of the
notable wars are the Lebanon War of 1982
and the Arab-Israeli War
of 1962 Moreover, from 2006 to
2007 the split of the Hamas militant group and the start of the war with Israel, which is still
ongoing in 2023. In what is now known as the West Bank, Israel has received
various foreign aid in terms of peace brokering and resettlement of refugees in
these areas, but despite this, the war continues, resulting in the cessation of
hostilities despite the United Nations Security Council's special resolution on
the matter. There is no possibility as this war has turned into an ideological
war in the current situation, resulting in more civilian casualties and
economic backwardness of the two countries.
Finally, after considering all aspects, it can be said
impartially that no matter how much criticism there is at the administrative
level and officially in the international arena, there has never been any
goodwill in the international arena to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. If
there was goodwill there could be a compromise between two conflicting groups
without the need for a third party. We can remember that the conflict between
Israel and Palestine is not limited to the two countries, the impact of this
conflict can also be seen in other countries and its consequences can be seen
at different levels of the psychological level of the people of that country.
Because this conflict is not only a gun battle but also a mental conflict.
